Take this into consideration before your purchase

The plethora of different food processors on the market makes choosing the right one for you extremely difficult. Many shoppers approach the market with a different set of criteria in mind, such as budget, capacity and ease of use. Naturally, everyone is different, however there are certain common factors that people should consider, prior to buying their food processor.

Though they are unlikely to be the largest items in the kitchen, space should be a factor in your decision making. Food processors come in a range of sizes, and you need to make sure that your kitchen has the space for your processor. The Hamilton Beach 70725 is relatively small and compact, an efficient model for the space it occupies! If space is a key consideration for you, we would definitely recommend this model.

Furthermore, the ease with which the unit can be operated, is often another factor when making a decision. When you want to process food, you want something quick and easy; allowing you to continue with the rest of your cooking or food preparation promptly. The Hamilton Beach 70725 is extremely easy to get the hang of, and its easy-to-follow instructions couldn’t be more straight forward. If this is the first processor you are buying, this model is highly recommended.

Finally, the price is also likely to affect your decision. Depending on how much you have saved, will depend on where you shop and which one you opt for. We do not think that the Hamilton Beach 70725 is the best processor on the market (for example we would suggest that more attractive-looking models are out there) but for its price, we think it is one of the best choices around.

The Features

So, what makes the Hamilton Beach 70725 stand out amongst the competition? Why have we rated it so highly? Some of the product’s key features are explained below, though we suggest that you approach these with your own set of criteria in mind, to evaluate if it truly is the best product for you.
As we have previously stated, the Hamilton Beach 70725 is extremely easy to operate, and this is mainly due to the three settings that the machine has. At the front of the product you will notice four buttons (one of which is ‘off’) and you simply press the one that performs the function you are after. If you are unsure which one is best for your purpose (from the slice/shred, puree/mix and pulse to chop options) then the instructions provide clear guidance. As a starting food processor, there are very few alternatives that operate as straight-forwardly as this model, meaning that it is suited to a wide range of users.

In addition, the Hamilton Beach 70725 is also easy to assemble. Many food processors come with parts that twist into place, and these can become fiddly and messy, particularly when liquids and other wet foods are placed in the processor. The 70725, by contrast, has a ‘stack and snap’ assembly function which clicks into place really easily, and removes any difficulty. It is, however, worth bearing in mind that the lid is not liquid tight and therefore spillages could occur if it is too full of liquid.

Another key feature of the Hamilton Beach 70725, is its large capacity. Storing 12 cups of dry food, the processor is efficient and allows users to process a lot of food quickly and easily. This is supplemented by the model’s big mouth that takes large items like pieces of fruit and vegetables – reducing the need for extra chopping before it has been used. If you are feeding a large family, a large capacity is a welcome feature!

People often look at the power of processors when choosing a new model, and the Hamilton Beach 70725 has a 450-watt voltage. There are more powerful processors out there, but for its purpose, 450 watts does not really cause any problems. The unit isn’t overly noisy (though, again, quieter models are out there), and it still processes food very quickly. As we have previously stated, whether this matters to you or not, depends largely upon your priorities.

The Conclusion

We think that the Hamilton Beach 70725 is a superb food processor that completes the job quickly and easily. The unit can be kept in a relatively small area of space and is one of the easiest processors out there to use. It requires minimal effort to clean as the parts of the processor are all dishwasher-safe; saving you time and energy.

On the other hand, the processor is relatively noisy in comparison with others out there, and we would suggest that it may not be the most attractive piece of kitchen equipment that you will own (though that is perhaps dependant on your personal tastes!) However, it is a great processor for the price, and will easily get the job done with very little fuss.
